UPVC & composite door repairs in Bridgwater and Somerset

A door that drops, sticks, or won't lock doesn't usually need replacing. We repair UPVC, composite, aluminium, sliding and patio doors across Bridgwater, Taunton and the South West, fixing the part that has failed so the door works properly again.

Sagging, sticking or hard to lock

Door sagging, especially in UPVC doors, is a common occurrence when the hinges begin to wear down and fail to hold the weight of the door. Once it drops, the locking points no longer line up with the keeps in the frame, so the handle gets stiff and the key is hard to turn.

In most cases we can resolve this by replacing the hinges or re-adjusting the door if the hinges are salvageable, bringing it back into line so it closes and locks smoothly.

Repair before replacement

By addressing issues promptly, minor problems are stopped from becoming costly replacements. Where a door genuinely is beyond repair, we can supply and fit a replacement as a FENSA Approved Installer.
