Window repairs in Bridgwater, Taunton and across Somerset
Most window problems can be fixed without replacing the whole window. We repair UPVC, casement, sash, aluminium and Victorian windows: windows that are jammed, draughty, letting water in, or won't lock.
Jammed windows
Windows can get stuck for a variety of reasons, most commonly rusted or worn friction hinges or locking mechanisms. These can be replaced, so the window opens, closes and locks as it should.
Draughts and leaks
Window gaskets can perish over time, especially in hot conditions. We find a replacement seal for your window's profile so you don't lose heat in the winter.
UPVC windows can also let water in because of improper installation, worn seals or drainage problems. Checking and replacing worn seals usually solves it.
Locking handles for insurance
Existing window handles can be replaced with locking versions. Send a photo to our WhatsApp and we'll let you know what can be done to meet your insurance requirements.
